And the smaller the diameter of the hose, the more resistance it offers in OHMs. Does that help?<br /><br />I should add: The power in an electrical circuit in WATTs is calculated by multiplying AMPs times VOLTs. So, an old fashioned light bulb might run on 120 VOLTS, using a current of half an AMP.
