Just always looking for easier ways to do things...for instance...before holidays...I make my dressing cornbread with onions, spices and celery in it and freeze...I cook and debone my hen and freeze...I make my pies (not cream ones)and freeze...I make my vegie casseroles and freeze. I put the Turkey in a browning bag...put it on at 250 degrees when I go to bed and it`s done when I get up (use a meat thermometer and be sure it`s at 180 degrees). Much fun, and not very many "white" families did this back in those days.
