One is the legendary Andres Segovia. I went backstage during intermission of a concert he was giving in Cincinnati's venerable Music Hall, shook his hand and got his autograph on the cover of the concert program. <BR/><BR/>The other two are Christopher Dean and Jane Torvill, the fantastic ice dancing duo from Great Britain. I started out in my hometown of Chicago about 1940. I think I used the Tribune and the Daily News. Later I was in the Cleveland, Ohio area and used the papers there. Most of my adult life was in Dayton, Ohio and I used the papers from there and Cincinnati. We all thought that was the greatest treat! It was my favorite show while it lasted (three seasons), depicting a family growing up in Philadelphia in the late 50s, early 60s, and the experiences were remarkably parallel to my own.
