Prolonged apnea leads to severe lack of oxygen in the blood circulation. Permanent brain damage can occur after as little as three minutes and death will inevitably ensue after a few more minutes unless ventilation is restored. However, under special circumstances such as hypothermia, hyperbaric oxygenation, apneic oxygenation, or extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, much longer periods of apnea may be tolerated without severe consequences.redsmittyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05429237645928250117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5995532066584316410.post-67535860704436816992009-02-11T20:07:00.000-06:002009-02-11T20:07:00.000-06:00Just shoot me and then maybe I'll try again tomorr...Just shoot me and then maybe I'll try again tomorrow with the quote puzzle.

Barry G. "Where the Wild Things" are is written by Maurice Sendak - was one of the easier clues for me on a really difficult puzzle day. It is a delightful children's book with wonderful illustrations. Great for boys as he is a typical kids getting into trouble, and using his imagination when he is sent to his room without dinner.
