Not too tough, although there was one place

“Shiv” and its cross. Other than that, it was smooth sailing.

I didn’t get the cross of Bopit (never heard of it) and pips. Pips are seeds? If you live in the UK maybe. How about dots on dice. Otherwise a breeze.

I agree with tperki on PIPS. Needed the comma that Hahtoolah added to solve the mystery of "Love, Me." My only Wite-Out application was correcting I'M NOT to AM NOT. Thanx, Victoria and Hahtoolah. (Loved the mousse cartoon.)
PURINA: I always carry baked PURINA dog treats on my M-o-W routes. The dogs expect, nay demand, 'em.

DW brought home a prickly pear pad that her SIL gave her. She stuck it in the bare ground near a hedgerow. It's now survived its second winter in Northern Illinois. Last summer it spread with a few more pads. I doubt that it will ever get as large as the one Hahtoolah uploaded, but I'll get a picture of it later this year.

Like SubG, I too had to take a WAG at the crossing of Shiv and syrah. Even spellcheck doesn't like it!
But the rest of the puzzle was definitely Tuesday easy.
So overall, despite what I consider a natick, this was an enjoyable puzzle.
Smooth puzzle. Just a few head scratchers, as already pointed out. Crossing BOP IT(?) and PIPS and LOVE ME which makes more senses as LOVE, ME.
This weekend working on the WSJ acrostic I found out that LOREAL is the world’s largest beauty company.
The theme was obvious from the beginning and the reveal apt.

I saw the separated W O R D S early on but waited for the reveal to get the theme. I saw Succession but couldn’t remember Shiv’s name. Actually, those Succession characters weren’t exactly memorable for much more than their hostility toward each other. I went astray at Gala/Bash and Aura/Halo, otherwise smooth sailing.

I have always thought Siobhan to be a pretty cool name but I have never watched an episode of Succession so I relied in perps to fill Shiv.
The cartoons in the recap were funny. My fav was driving out the evil spirits.

Not too bad a puzzle today, except for a few clues like SHIV and LoveME.(Sounds like something a stalker or egomaniac would sign) I would go with "loveYOU". At least this seemed more like a crossWORDpuzzle than the string of A&E trivial pursuit games we've been flooded with recently. Not all of us old fogies are into the hundreds of streaming shows, or pay-per-views.(or In TV in general) back in the old three network days, people knew most of the actual Stars and shows were discussed around work. Now they ask for names and characters from one obscure show, who certainly cannot be STARS in the old sense like Monroe, Gable, Wayne, May West, etc. End rant! On the brighter side, Ha2la. Really hit the spot today, as usual! Great 'toons!
