I never time my solves but this is likely my fastest ever.
Boomer, to convert 29 out of 30 frames after and during your health challenges is very much worth mentioning and I am sure the 600+ is not far away. When I got sick I wnet from doing sets of 75 to 100 push-ups to not being able to do a single one.

The USAF's THUNDERBOLT was one of the best ground attack aircraft ever built. Called the warthog, the ungainly looking plane brought hell on earth to opposing tank crews, while being able to make it home with unbelievable battle damage. I hope they just mothballed these fine aircraft; we'll likely need them again in the Mideast desert.

Ahhh! Another comment or two post morning coffee! First, Boomer, I want to tell you how much I enjoy reading your humor in your write-ups. Today's comment that you bet you were the youngest one at your school reunion gave me a good smile! Also, who watched that Packer game yesterday? What a game!! Mason Crosby has missed two field goals in the last two SEASONS, but yesterday missed a PAT, which, had he made it, the Packers would have won the game w/o OT. Crosby also missed two FG in regulation time, either of which would have won the game for the Pack w/o OT. Then he missed a FG in OT which would have won it!! Finally, after the Bengal's kicker also missed one in OT, Crosby put it through the uprights in a 49 yard kick, winning the game. So Crosby missed 3 FGs yesterday....so he's used up his quota of misses for the rest of the year, right? Anyway, what a great fun game that was. Oh, and add green bell peppers to that pizza!
Top to bottom FIR today. Jinx, We had the Worthogs here from 1981 till 1992. Live close to the airport. They would come right over our house on their downwind. Sorta whistled on the way by. I won’t recap my entire lost post from yesterday. I found the puzzle relatively easy. FIR, I had to rely on all perps for HIS and THING. I am writing to express my joy at Agnes’s diagnosis. Although pneumonia is no joy, it is better than what might have been. Agnes, I am glad that things are on the way up and that soon your ordeal will be over and you will be returned to good health.

I spent Saturday and part of Sunday in the hospital with bleeding diverticulosis. I felt well and pain free for the entire time, it was just the bleeding. Finally, there are no visible traces of blood this morning. It seems the pouches are healing. No physical pain, but now I am in insurance H-LL.
I will write more after doing today’s puzzle.

-I always start Monday puzzles with the idea of doing them as quickly as possible. I soon realize that is not pleasurable for me and so I do not WOLF, SCARF or BOLT them down but savor it as I go.
-If I have to be with someone who is either TERSE or chatty, I’d lean toward the former more than the latter
-The “S” in Ulysses S Grant and Harry S Truman don’t stand for anything
-The real Earl that lived at Downton Abbey (Highclere Castle) helped find King TUT and died the next year. Curse?
-The RERUNS of my childhood TV shows are horrible but I can’t stop watching them occasionally
-The GEESE are a lovely part of my golf course but their droppings are a nuisance
-BEA was a tough cookie and was a truck driver for the Reserve Marine Corps in WWII
-Look out GEESE, FORE!

Got STEPPENWOLF early on and figured we'd have an animal theme today. Nope: never heard of a critter known as a SCARF, so that blew that theme. But at least we did get some GEESE down the road.
"BUM out" made me laugh, and always enjoy finding TUT in a puzzle.
Lots of emotion on top, with ANGER and SOB next to each other, and SORE a few lines down.

T-C, you made me look up the status of the A-10. They are still flying, despite the efforts of the USAF to retire them. They may be relegated to National Guard units, but those Guard units proved themselves worthy "over there." I found this: "The plane is so strongly constructed; it can continue to fly, even when one engine, one tail-plane, one elevator, and half of one wing missing." Why in the hell would the AF want to ask a fragile $250 million F-35 to do the work that is much better suited to an attack plane like the A-10? Sounds like the armchair generals looking for a cushy retirement civilian job have taken over.
Around here, FA-18 Super Hornets provide the daily air show. Those beautiful machines are LOUD even when landing. We've learned to just stop talking when we hear or see a pair of them approaching. We see a lot of bumper stickers proclaiming "I [heart] jet noise" and "It isn't jet noise, it's the sound of freedom".

Thankfully, this was an easy romp and I FIWed and got the Gobble theme quickly, even though I am tired from a busy Canadian Thanksgiving weekend (with beautiful weather). The Gobble was appropriate if referring to the turkey, but we all relaxed over our food and did not WOLF.
One inkblot to change Skarf to SCARF. Not sure why I always tend to that spelling at first (old English origin of the word?).
Erotic in clue for EROS was a nose-wrinkle for me. AnonT- I missed the Thumb dupe.
I smiled at SEMINARIES crossing SON in the Trinity.

Tonight I was checking my Twitter feed (of mostly fellow hackers) and saw that a guy I follow reTweeted a "Who likes the Sooners... Sound off" Tweet.
I Tweeted a copy-and-reply saying how DW & I went to OU, blah, blah, blah.
I didn't follow the original Twitterer(?) so looked at her profile. It was bare*?
So I Googled the name to see if she published something I should have known about. Before I looked at the Google results, DW got home. DW & I chatted for a bit and DW decided to get ready for bed.
I went back to my laptop and looked at the Google results before I followed this 'new to me' person (a fellow hacker/Alumna I should know / follow(?)).
No - apparently, she's a porn star(?!?)
Me: "Oh, my!" Find my Tweet. Where's my Tweet? Delete. Delete.
Funnier still (or just stupid on my part), I told DW about the snafu. Then she Googled the name on her iPhone and got images in her results...
"Gross!" was near all she could say.
