Theme: "Course Catalog" - Golf terms are re-interpreted as non-golf related.

100A. HOOK : COAT HANGER. The opposite of "slice".
116A. LIE : FISH STORY. Just play where it lies.
119A. GREEN : ECO-FRIENDLY. Where the hole is.
38D. CHIP : DIAMOND FLAW. Chip and putt. Up and down.
43D. ROUGH : ILL-MANNERED. US Open roughs are punishing.
C.C. here.
I
originally also had DRAW as a proposed entry. Rich, who has a low
handicap (5, I think), was worried that it might be unfamiliar to
non-golfers.
I also used question marks in my theme
entry clue [Hook?], [Green?], etc. Rich changed them to all caps. But
the clue words remain unchanged. A first for me. Amazing :-)
